The award highlights young Americans of Croatian descent who have stood out for their accomplishments and endeavors. The annual accolade is designated by the National Federation of Croatian Americans Cultural Foundation. With nearly 500,000 Americans who have identified as Croatian or descendent- Croatians have made significant contributions in areas such as professional sports, science, entertainment, politics, and business.
